Job Description
We are seeking a Manager of Partnerships to oversee a key client relationship based in the United States. In this position, you will serve as the central point of contact between the client and internal teams, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations across the Canada–U.S. border.
The ideal candidate will bring in-depth expertise in cross-border logistics, including compliance with transportation regulations, customs clearance, and effective freight management. You will be expected to nurture strong client relationships, address operational challenges proactively, and contribute to the long-term development of the account. This role requires someone who is customer-centric, solutions-driven, and comfortable balancing both tactical operations and strategic planning.
Core Qualifications
- 2–3 years of proven success in transportation or logistics sales
- Track record of selling both LTL (Less-than-Truckload) and FTL (Full Truckload) services, particularly for cross-border freight
- Familiarity with NMFC classification standards is a strong asset
- Solid grasp of transportation pricing strategies, including freight class and discount systems
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and deepen existing client partnerships through active and personalized engagement
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company's growth objectives
- Collaborate across departments to ensure timely and accurate execution of client requirements
- Track performance indicators and address any potential issues to maintain high client satisfaction
- Work with the Credit team to manage account balances and payment health
- Anticipate industry changes and customer needs to help the client remain competitive
