About the role
Key Function:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and PET/CT procedures in accordance with clinical protocols, legislative requirements, and departmental standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, accurate, and compassionate diagnostic imaging services.
Note: It's a travel nursing opportunity not specific to one location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures.
- Follow all professional standards as outlined by the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Adhere to protocols regarding radiation safety, patient care, and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping and image archiving.
- Travel between local sites as required.
Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
- Minimum Advanced Diploma (3 years) in Molecular Imaging from an accredited college.
- Registered with CMRITO in good standing (required).
- CAMRT certification (preferred).
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training (preferred).
- Ministry of Labour's “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” certificate (required).
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check (required).
Skills & Requirements:
- Ability to meet the physical and sensory demands of the job.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel between local healthcare sites.

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift

- Monday to Friday

- No weekends
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- CMRTO (required)
