About the role

We are in search of a Desktop Support Technician based in Calgary.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and software applications.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
  • Maintain and update antivirus and security software.
  • Support VoIP phone systems and mobile devices.
  • Document support activities and maintain asset inventory.
  • Assist with IT equipment procurement and deployment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common desktop applications.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
