The Cash Applications Clerk will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency of Bunzl's financial operations, while also providing valuable support for various accounting projects as necessary.
Responsibilities :
- Posting electronically transferred funds, cheques and credit cards and to customer accounts
- Research cash application issues with remittance detail
- Prompt application of all cash receipts
- Research and alert supervisor of short pays and discrepancies
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements :
- Minimum 1 year experience in similar role
- Attention to detail is a required to ensure proper posting and clearing of line items.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal skills.
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Highly dependable with great organizational skills in order to meet deadlines and time constraints.
- Familiar and proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience with Infor SX.e ERP is an asset.
