About the role
Who you are
- We’re looking for a Lead Product Analyst who’s passionate about empowering product teams through data and experimentation
- If you love translating complexity into clarity, owning big initiatives end-to-end, and championing a data-informed culture, we want to hear from you
- 6+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or experimentation, ideally within B2B SaaS or a fast-paced startup environment
- Advanced SQL and dbt skills: you know how to go deep in the data and build scalable models that drive clarity and decision-making
- Proven success designing and analyzing product experiments (e.g., A/B/n tests, multivariate testing)
- Strong understanding of event tracking strategy, user data modeling, and product analytics tools like Amplitude
- Comfortable using and evaluating AI tools for data analysis, storytelling, or experimentation: you’re curious, hands-on, and eager to explore how AI can supercharge your work
- Bonus: Python scripting experience for data exploration or automation
- Proactive project management mindset: You can independently manage priorities, stakeholders, and timelines
- Proven ability to own initiatives end-to-end with minimal oversight
- Excellent communication skills and experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate in the Toronto office weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
What the job involves
- You’ll focus on building and owning our Amplitude implementation, driving scalable event instrumentation, defining our user tracking strategy, and elevating how we experiment and measure product impact
- This is a unique opportunity to shape the analytics foundation that powers decision-making across Product, Design, Engineering, and Growth
- Own and evolve our event instrumentation framework across all product surfaces using Amplitude
- Define and drive best practices for product tracking strategy and metadata governance
- Design and execute complex product analytics and experimentation initiatives independently, from scoping and stakeholder alignment to delivery
- Serve as the point person for product experimentation: design A/B tests, analyze outcomes, and influence roadmap decisions
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Design to ensure instrumentation is prioritized, documented, and aligned to business outcomes
- Build intuitive reporting that drives clarity on feature usage, customer behavior, and performance metrics
- Lead project planning and prioritization for analytics initiatives: manage timelines, stakeholders, and tradeoffs to drive results
- Identify opportunities to improve how we collect, organize, and leverage user interaction data to support The Homie Way: Own Your Impact and Master Your Craft
