The Role We are seeking a strategic, process-driven creative operations leader to help build the systems, structure, and clarity needed to scale our internal creative function. This role blends planning with hands-on execution to unlock the full potential of our creative team and ensure seamless cross-functional alignment. This hybrid role blends the strategic instincts of an Account Director with the operational precision of a Creative Operations lead. You will work across marketing, creative, e-commerce and production to ensure campaigns and projects move from brief to delivery smoothly, on time, and with clarity.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of creative workflows and production timelines, with the ability to protect space for creativity while bridging business needs and brand execution. You will act as the translator and operator between requests and creative output—owning intake, timelines, bandwidth planning, and feedback loops—so all teams can focus on what they do best while we scale our content production.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Creative Workflow & Execution:
  • Work alongside the Creative Director to translate briefs into structured creative project plans.
  • Lead day-to-day project workflows: timelines, task management, feedback cycles, approvals, and handoffs.
  • Manage Creative project intake, prioritization, and allocation of work across designers, editors, and freelancers.
  • Build and maintain production calendars, project dashboards, and status updates.
  • Run regular creative check-ins and manage project status meetings to ensure accountability
  • Implement best practices and systems to improve clarity, reduce inefficiencies, and ensure high-quality, on-brand creative output.
  • Serve as the key operational partner to the Marketing team and Internal stakeholders ensuring briefs are translated into clear deliverables, timelines are respected, and feedback loops are proactively managed across stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day operational workflows, timelines, and team capacity planning.
  • Strategic Collaboration:
  • Support the Creative Director to operationalize creative vision without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the Internal stakeholders and Marketing to understand campaign goals, asset needs, project deliverables across various teams, and timelines.
  • Ensure flexibility is built into planning to accommodate in-season creative pivots or quick-turn opportunities.
  • Budgeting & Resource Management:
  • Partner with Creative Director and leadership to plan creative production budgets effectively.
  • Oversee external vendors, freelancers, and production partners when necessary.
  • Proactively assess when additional resources are needed and build business cases for them.

Experience, Education & Designations

  • 7+ years' experience in a creative operations, project management, or production leadership role within a creative agency or in-house brand team.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

  • Deep understanding of the creative process, from concepting through to production.
  • Exceptional organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proven experience managing creative calendars, resourcing, and budgets.
  • Experience using Asana (or similar tools) to run creative workflows.
  • Ability to lead with empathy while driving accountability and clarity across teams.
