About the role
The Ontario Prevention Clinic / The PrEP Clinic is currently seeking a part-time Registered Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to support our Wednesday afternoon sexual health clinic. Clinic runs from 12pm to 4pm. This service breaks down barriers to care in the region and provides an inclusive space for people seeking HIV prevention services.
We are looking for a highly motivated, outgoing, and detail-oriented applicant to join our dynamic team. The individual will have an Ontario RPN license and be in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Experience with phlebotomy and administering IM injections is required.
Your role will include providing the following care services: IM injections at various sites (STI treatment, sexual health vaccines), blood draws, and test sample handling. Healthcare admin is included in the role and the applicant will receive training related to this.
You will have an opportunity to drive meaningful change for the people we care for and be a respected health team member. The role requires the ability to take on leadership and work independently at times. You will be working alongside other nurses and Nurse Practitioners to deliver care.

Experience with diverse patient populations, especially the LGBTQ+ community, is an asset and preferred. Multilingual candidates are a plus but is not a requirement.
Shift schedule: Mondays 11:30am-4:30pm.
Vehicle: required (nurse drops off lab samples at Dynacare at end of clinic)
