Powerland, a Xerox Business Solutions Company, is seeking high energy, self-starter individual(s) that is looking to excel their career in sales as a Sr. IT Account Executive in the Montreal, Quebec region. Salary: The advertised amount above is the fixed ( base) salary for the opening. Your actual On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Know the product and service offered
  • Know the offer of products and services related to IT Service Offerings and Infrastructure
  • Know the operation of the products and services offered
  • Know the procedure of developing needs for all products and services offered
  • Know the competitive differentiators of the products and services offered
  • Build your own book of business
  • Maintain Salesforce hygiene for opportunities and forecasting
  • Drive new customer revenue growth
  • Prepare prospecting/submissions for existing customers and/or prospects customers
  • Design presentation documents (Proposal, analysis, comparison, spreadsheet, report)
  • Solicit new clients
  • Engage in prospecting activities for net new customers
  • Try alternative strategies when failing to reach or obtain business meeting with prospects
  • Engage in needs development activities with prospects and offer recommendations.
  • Achieve sales results
  • Maintain a bank of prospects
  • Engage in commercial activities allowing the qualification of profitable business opportunities
  • Perform strategic follow-ups according to the purchasing cycle of prospects and existing customers
  • Influence a customer's purchasing criteria
  • Manage objections and obstacles
  • Negotiate profitable agreements
  • Participate in training programs to keep up-to-date knowledge of solutions and products offered by the company

Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in French
  • A good knowledge of English is required, as this role requires regular communication in English with clients and staff located in other provinces and the United States
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales or business development position
  • Experience in the IT Industry and/or the manufacturing space (an asset)
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Valid Drivers License
