Sodexo offers a competitive hourly salary of $23.00 per hour as well as Extended Benefits (Medical, Dental, Optical, Prescription Drug Plan). We offer parking on site!

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 9:30am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday 11:00am - 7:00pm

Schedule may change due to operational needs i.e. caterings and school events

Job Description

This role is a Full-time position that requires your experienced and reliable experience. You are interested in cooking daily dinner services for a diverse ethnic student group who live on campus.

Duties would include cooking buffet style dinners with desserts, afternoon and evening snacks for approximately 100 residents and staff. The Dinner cook must have the ability to work independently and be able to make decisions and troubleshoot issues that may arise. The Dinner cook will also have the ability to work with the chef to build different and diverse menus in line with the many different cultures who dine in on a daily basis.

Qualifications

  • Must have Foodsafe or equivalent

  • 2 - 3 years experience with Catering/ high volume cooking

  • 3 years Cooking experience

  • Must be willing to obtain a Criminal Record Check for vunerable sector
