Job summary
Recognizing the strategic nature of the tax function, Restaurant Brands International is building a world class tax department with personnel based in Miami, FL, and Toronto, ON. The teams in Miami and Toronto work closely together to meet the diverse tax provision, compliance, audit, and planning needs of this large and complex international organization. We are currently looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to be a part of this dedicated team. The position is based in Toronto.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 1 - 2 years of corporate income tax experience in public accounting or large corporation
- CPA designation or Masters in Taxation preferred
- Experience with large corporate or complex tax provision preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Team player with strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated individual with ability to manage multiple tasks independently within fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Main Responsibilities
- Support preparation of outsourced Canadian income tax and information returns
- Preparation of quarterly and annual Canadian tax provision
- Assist with government audits, prepare responses to queries, and review assessments
- Prepare tax instalments, analyze tax account balances and prepare journal entries
- Assist with reorganization projects, including research, and coordination with advisors
- Assist with international planning and related tax calculations (FAPI, surplus, tax basis)
- Assist with department budgeting

RBI a pour vocation d'assurer des missions d'audit technique, de conception, d'exécution, jusqu'à la maîtrise d'œuvre totale des projets qui lui sont confiés.
Depuis 2016, RBI fait du BIM un outil fondamental de conception et de réalisation. Cette approche collaborative s'articule autour de la maquette numérique (BIM), optimisant ainsi les échanges et la mise en commun des données techniques et architecturales.
Nous réalisons également des études de synthèse architecturales et techniques.
Les collaborateur·trices formé·es aux méthodes de RBI interviennent sur vos projets en tant qu'ingénieur·es techniques. Ces dernier·es apportent en parfaite collaboration avec les acteurs du projet, leur esprit d'innovation, un haut niveau d'implication et de responsabilité professionnelle.
