What You’ll Be Doing Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of 300-400 accounts, ensuring timely follow-ups on payments using GetPaid software and SRM.
  • Analyze customer accounts, reviewing payment history, disputes, short-paid invoices, and prior contact records to determine the appropriate next steps.
  • Resolve billing issues, including dispute resolution, short-paid invoices, and misapplied payments, by coordinating with customers, branches, Sales Representatives, and Rental Representatives. Escalate complex disputes when necessary.
  • Reconcile accounts, ensuring accurate payment application and addressing any discrepancies in contract billings using Power BI.
  • Process payments and provide statements, invoices, and account details upon customer request.
  • Maintain account records, updating customer information, certificates of insurance, and keeping detailed notes on transactions.
  • Handle customer inquiries, manage incoming queue calls, and serve as backup support for colleagues.
  • Send reminders and overdue payment notices while preparing and organizing documents for the credit and collections team.

Qualifications And Requirements What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Relative experience in a similar position is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer systems and intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, must be able to work independently as well as being a solid team player.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills and a willingness to take initiatives.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
