The Assembler position consists of documentation, assembly, electrical test, machine test and inspection. Each assembler may be required to work on any single phase of operations at a given time.
Your responsibilities:
- Cleaning and preparation of parts by simple chemical cleaning procedures;
- Mounting of product with epoxy and solder;
- Mounting of other components, e.g. hybrid sub-assemblies, with epoxy and solder;
- Hand marking of devices;
- Test components and assemblies once finished;
- Sub-assembly fabrication to be used on final product;
- Fibre optic attachment;
- The assembler may need to use the SAP system to make certain transactions;
- The assembler may assist the Team Leader in the training of new employees;
- Performing other related duties as required.
Your qualifications:
- Possess a High School Diploma;
- Have experience in a manufacturing environment;
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
- Have good organizational skills;
- Experience with computer data entry (an asset);
- Good manual dexterity and visual acuity;
- Bilingualism (French and English) an asset;
