About the role
Summary
We are building a venture-backed AI-powered SaaS to modernize the real estate pre-construction development process by improving the fragmented and highly manual workflows surrounding entitlements, permitting, and land use compliance.
Our vision is to create a platform that can help real estate developers dramatically reduce the time it takes for permits & entitlements approvals with AI-powered intelligence and compliance reviews.
With strong early momentum and support from industry partners, we are now entering a critical phase of product validation and go-to-market planning.
The opportunity
We are seeking a Strategic Advisor / Consultant to support our team in refining our product vision and go-to-market strategy, and help establish relationships and engage with early adopters. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience and network in real estate development, with deep understanding of entitlements and permitting processes.
If you are up for it, you will:
- Help validate and refine product features based on deep understanding of processes, inputs, and workflows for entitlement and permit evaluation
- Advise on go-to-market, including customer segmentation and variations in needs
- Provide strategic input on pricing and positioning
- Facilitate introductions to real estate developers, planning consultants, and municipal representatives
- Participate in meetings with early adopters and design partners
Background and experience:
- 10+ years of experience in real estate development and/or land use planning
- Deep understanding of pre-construction workflows, especially zoning, entitlements, and permit pathways
- Familiarity with the complexity and variance of municipal approval processes, and how consultants and developers navigate them
- Strong network of real estate developers, planning consultants, and/or municipal representatives
- Prior experience advising or collaborating with early-stage ventures is a plus
Other desirable assets:
- Experience with digitization initiatives of permitting & entitlement workflows within municipalities or developers
