Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Dean, the Aviation Programs Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight and administration of Confederation College’s two aviation programs: Aviation Flight Management ( AFM ) and Aviation Technician – Aircraft Maintenance (AT-AM). This position ensures that aircraft maintenance training, flight training, ground school, and simulator instruction are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with college policies and regulatory standards.
Working closely with the Person Responsible for Training ( PRT ), the Person Responsible for Maintenance ( PRM ) and the Chief Flight Instructor ( CFI ), the Program Manager supports compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives and plays a key role in implementing program plans, managing resources, and addressing day-to-day operational needs. The Aviation Programs Manager supports the Associate Dean with workload planning, resource allocation, and internal and external communications to maintain high standards across both programs. This role ensures consistent operations and promotes a positive learning and working environment.
