About the Opportunity
LCU Insurance is looking for an experienced Level II Insurance Agent who is passionate about the insurance industry to join our team. The Level II Insurance Agent is responsible for:
- Meeting with clients to identify needs and advise on insurance products and services best suited to meet those needs
- Underwriting a variety of insurance policies including all personal lines
- Maintaining renewal files and follow-up with clients regarding plan renewal and review of insurance coverage
- Set up of payment plans and collection of premiums
- Performing various administrative duties relating to both driver licensing and ICBC transactions
About the Candidate
- Successful completion of CAIB, CAIB II and CAIB III
- Completion of industry related courses to maintain a Level II license
- 4-5 years of insurance services experience, preferably in a Credit Union subsidiary environment
- Knowledge of insurance and motor vehicle licensing procedures, regulations, and documentation
- A professional and upbeat attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to deal effectively with client problems or complaints
- Ability to develop positive working relationships with others
- Dedication to providing and demonstrating exceptional customer service
This permanent full-time position will be available immediately and will remain open until filled.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,468.88-$55,584.87 per year
