The Opportunity

DeVry Greenhouses Ltd is looking for a humble, hungry, and smart individual to join the team as a full-time account manager. This role focuses on managing key accounts, developing sales programs, and overseeing day-to-day operations. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, openness to constructive feedback, attention to detail and getting tasks done, and a passion for sharing and learning with others!

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage a large corporate account in Canada.
  • Analyze sales data to optimize sell-through and profitability at stores.
  • Work closely on a team with another Account Manager.
  • Help in finalizing orders, optimizing carts and executing during the season.
  • Project and forecast quantities for upcoming seasons.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis and present insightful season recaps.
  • Support the sales team with various tasks as needed.
  • Handle communication, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (or similar) in progress or completed.
  • A strong drive to excel and a willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Professional and positive demeanor, showing respect for colleagues and customers alike.
  • Exceptional ability to organize tasks and manage priorities effectively.
  • Ability to cultivate customer loyalty through effective relationship building.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willing to travel occasionally throughout the year, with a valid passport.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

KPIs

  • Grow total sales within your accounts by selling more products or to new customers.
  • Build customer satisfaction scores.
  • Grow our customer's profitability. Their success is our success.
  • Stay ahead of your PreFlight Scores - our internal guidance system for getting key tasks completed.

Total Rewards:

  • Wage will be determined by your expertise and experience.
  • Eligible for benefits after probationary period.
  • Wage review in January and performance review in July/August
