A leading Canadian company in the packaging sector is looking for a strategic and hands-on director of Business Development to join their team to help accelerate their expansion across Canada.
What You’ll Do
🔹 Drive New Business: Identify, pursue, and close new opportunities across the CPG and CHC sectors
🔹 Lead with Strategy: Shape go-to-market initiatives and align business development with company objectives
🔹 Own the Process: From prospecting and networking to proposal development and contract negotiation
🔹 Be the Face: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and within key client accounts
🔹 Build Relationships: Become a trusted partner to your clients, nurturing long-term commercial success
What We’re Looking For
✅10+ years in business development or B2B sales, preferably in packaging, printing, or supply chain sectors
✅ Experience working with or selling to CPG and CHC clients in Canada
✅ Strong understanding of packaging/print processes and how to position them competitively
✅ Proven ability to build pipeline, close deals, and grow key accounts
✅ Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
