One of OSN Hubโs valued employer partners is seeking a ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ (DOC) to lead Resident Care Services at a well-established long-term care facility in the Interior region of British Columbia. This full-time leadership role is responsible for the overall clinical and operational management of the Nursing/Care Department in alignment with provincial and federal care standards.
Reporting to the Executive Director and Regional Care Leadership, the DOC will ensure the consistent delivery of safe, respectful, and person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities

Address resident and family concerns; ensure timely and appropriate resolution.

Lead investigations and follow-up actions for care concerns or complaints.

Coordinate and oversee the Care Conference Program.

Ensure high-quality resident care through staff leadership, care planning, policy enforcement, and regulatory compliance.

Monitor staffing levels, training needs, and provision of medical equipment and supplies.

Lead and mentor the nursing team to ensure excellence in resident care.
Qualifications
-
Bachelorโs Degree in Nursing and active RN registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Minimum 5 years of experience in seniorsโ care, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.

Solid understanding of long-term care regulations, quality assurance processes, and team development.

Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
