Events & Brand Marketing – Summer Student

De Havilland Canada is seeking a passionate, creative, and motivated Events & Brand Marketing Summer Student to join our Marketing and Communications team for two (2) to three (3) months. This is an exciting opportunity for a student interested in brand marketing and event planning to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic and supportive team.

As a summer student, you will assist with a variety of administrative activities for our team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and excited about contributing to both internal and external brand marketing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management, organization, and shipping of marketing material including promotional items, brochures and other marketing collateral.
  • Assist with our internal DHC Store, including inventory, fulfilling orders, photographing and adding new items.
  • Contribute to the planning of both internal and external events including international trade shows, employee and community engagement events.
  • Support the Brand Marketing & Communications team with other administrative tasks as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail and creativity.
  • Organized, enthusiastic, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, knowledge of shopify platform an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be able to stand for extended periods of time.
