Introduction
Our Client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Inside Sales Supervisor to lead the inside sales team. This role is responsible for managing the proposal submission and order entry processes while supporting the global sales team and working closely with distributors. The Inside Sales Supervisor ensures accurate quotes, seamless customer interactions, and efficient project handovers to manufacturing and operations. Performance is measured by quote accuracy, order capture rate, and process efficiency .

Key Responsibilities
Team & Distributor Management
● Lead, mentor, and evaluate the inside sales team, ensuring high performance.
● Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workload distribution for efficiency.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors , ensuring alignment on pricing, order processing, and customer expectations.
● Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture focused on continuous improvement.
Sales, Proposal & Data Management
● Respond promptly to RFQs, qualifying opportunities with Regional Sales Managers and distributors.
● Develop and improve proposal submission processes, pricing structures, and risk assessment strategies .
● Build standardized RFQ response packages that minimize errors and commercial risks while ensuring consistency.
● Work with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Logistics, Application Specialists) to gather technical and cost data for proposals.
● Compare market trends, distributor performance, and pricing data to optimize strategies and improve order win rates.
Order Processing & Handover
● Ensure accurate order entry into the ERP system, validating pricing, lead times, and costs before releasing to manufacturing.
● Collaborate with distributors to confirm order accuracy and fulfillment expectations .
● Coordinate with Production and Logistics to confirm delivery schedules and shipment details .
● Lead smooth handovers from sales to operations , reducing errors and ensuring on-time delivery .
Customer & Cross-Functional Communication
● Manage distributor and customer interactions from RFQ to order fulfillment, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution .
● Participate in customer and distributor meetings to clarify technical and commercial details.
● Work with Finance to manage milestone payments and Letters of Credit (LC) where applicable .
● Lead or participate in project kick-off meetings to ensure smooth handover from sales to operations.
Continuous Improvement & Data-Driven Decision Making
● Identify efficiency opportunities in inside sales workflows while ensuring compliance with risk management.
● Keep up with market trends, distributor performance, and competitive pricing to refine sales strategies.
● Maintain accurate CRM and ERP data , ensuring pipeline visibility and data-driven decision-making .
● Analyze historical sales data, distributor order patterns, and product trends to improve forecasting and order success rates.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
● Bachelor's or Technical Degree (preferred fields: Engineering, Chemistry, or related).
● Proven inside sales, proposals, or sales support experience.
● Experience leading a team and working with distributors in a sales environment.
● Familiarity with engineer-to-order (ETO) or custom product environments is an asset.
Technical & Analytical Skills
● Proficiency in Office applications, CRM, and MRP/ERP software .
● Strong technical writing, data comparison, and sales analysis abilities.
● Ability to evaluate pricing, distributor trends, and competitive data to optimize sales strategy.
Communication & Leadership
● Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to lead business meetings and distributor negotiations .
● Strong customer service mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure .
● Capable of building and maintaining relationships with distributors and internal teams.
Personal Attributes
● Detail-oriented, analytical, and data-driven , capable of comparing pricing and market trends .
● Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and sales channels .

Compensation & Benefits
● $95,000.00 to 100,000.00 per year + yearly bonus based on performance
