Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Organizational Change Manager in the oil and gas sector in Calgary, Alberta. A Day In The Life

  • Change Leadership: Acts as a strategic change agent, advisor, and coach—leading change planning, execution, and adoption for complex, cross-functional programs impacting all levels of the organization.
  • OCM Strategy & Execution: Develops and delivers comprehensive change management strategies and plans (communications, training, sponsorship, resistance management, and stakeholder engagement) aligned with corporate standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners with HR, Talent Management, Learning & Development, and project teams to deliver integrated, people-focused OCM solutions that support business outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Builds sponsorship and alignment through close collaboration with senior leadership and key stakeholders; facilitates engagement across departments to drive successful adoption.
  • Resource & Team Management: Oversees OCM-related resources such as change advisors, trainers, communications specialists, and project coordinators; manages OCM budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Analysis & Risk Management: Conducts impact and stakeholder assessments, identifies risks, and ensures proactive mitigation strategies across concurrent initiatives.
  • Sustainment & Evaluation: Monitors change adoption, measures effectiveness, and implements sustainment strategies to embed change into business operations for long-term success.
  • Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing: Contributes to the broader OCM community by sharing best practices, building organizational capability, and staying current on industry standards and internal processes.

The Successful Candidate Brings

  • University degree or any discipline
  • 15+ years of experience in leading organizational change management for large-scale, cross-functional programs in complex environments.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive OCM strategies and plans, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and resistance management.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and coach senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in change management tools and methodologies; experience using ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, JDE) and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.

We Provide

  • $90/hour - $100/hour (flexible based on seniority and requirements met)
  • Location: Downtown Calgary
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, full time hours, hybrid work model (3 days in-office)
  • Opportunity to work for one of the leaders in energy infrastructure in North America
  • Contract duration: July 2025 to December 2025 (chance of extension)
