Position Description
As Account Manager, you’ll play a central role in CEATI’s growth by managing and expanding relationships with a portfolio of existing utility members. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you’ll be responsible for achieving retention and expansion goals within an assigned territory, aligning member priorities with CEATI’s suite of programs and services.
This role blends relationship management with strategic sales and offers the opportunity to collaborate across the organization. Beyond day-to-day engagement with members of the revenue team, you’ll work closely with our internal program teams to ensure client insights inform our content development and product innovation.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage portfolio of 50-70 utility member accounts, exceeding annual retention and cross-sell targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level stakeholders to understand their priorities and deliver tailored value
- Identify, qualify, and close cross-sell opportunities by aligning CEATI programs with member needs
- Provide strategic input into marketing campaign messaging and timing
- Collaborate with internal teams to onboard new members and optimize the customer journey
- Monitor customer engagement and proactively address risks to satisfaction and retention
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor positioning, continuously refining your member outreach strategy
- Contribute to executive-level discussions on new product development based on direct market feedback
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
- Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships and work cross-functionally with internal teams
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills
- Experience with CRM tools required; familiarity with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms preferred
- Use AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance outreach, summarize content, and create client-facing materials that improve efficiency and engagement.
- Passion for the power sector or interest in energy innovation is highly valued.
