TruStone is looking to hire a Commissions Audit Specialist to join our team!

What you’ll be working on

  • Conduct audits on commissions verifying accuracy against policy data, commission schedules, and agency agreements.
  • Develop deep understanding and expertise on TruStone MGA contracts building knowledge on products and service fees as well as transfers and their valuations
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies in commission calculations, working with internal teams and carriers to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Analyze commission trends and identify potential areas for improvement in commission processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of audit findings and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to ensure smooth commission processing and reconciliation.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in commission structures, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain audit procedures and documentation.
  • Prepare reports on commission audit findings and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Assist in the implementation of new commission structures or systems.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.

What we’re looking for you to have

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in insurance, commissions, auditing, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of insurance commission structures and calculations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
