Project Manager, Healthcare (Canada, part-time)
Remote - Canada | Part-time
Our client, a leading force in the scheduling application industry, provides advanced HR and scheduling software solutions to prestigious clients, including Starbucks, AirFrance, and various governmental and health organizations. With a global presence, including a dedicated team in Canada, the US, Croatia, and other locations, they are now seeking to add a skilled Project Manager with Canadian Healthcare industry experience to their team for an upcoming 18-month project.
It’s a part-time contract position with an estimated effort of 1000+ hours over the next 18 months. A slight preference will be given to candidates located in Toronto in case an occasional in-person meeting is required, although the role is fully remote. All candidates must be located in Canada.
The Role: As the vendor-side PM, you’ll steer a scheduling/time-tracking integration project that connects the vendor’s platform with PeopleSoft and Epic (EHR) in a highly regulated healthcare environment. You’ll coordinate internal engineers, client IT, and third-party vendors, ensuring scope, budget, timeline, and compliance targets are met.
Skills and Experience Required:
7 + years of project management experience.
PMP certification is strongly preferred.
3+ completed projects within a healthcare provider or vendor environment.
Previous COTS/ERP/CRM implementation experience in the healthcare industry is mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
Nice-to-have Requirements:
Experience with PeopleSoft or Epic integration projects
Familiarity with cloud-based healthcare integration
Knowledge of Canadian healthcare data privacy regulations beyond HIPAA (GDPR, LGPD, etc.)
