Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen by assisting with food preparation and ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking. Duties

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring food items according to recipes and specifications.
• Assist in the cooking process by preparing sauces, marinades, and other components as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and stored properly.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and quality in food handling.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
• Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and recipes as needed.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $16.55-$22.36 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
