Your impact

At Jacobs, we deliver innovative solutions to support water sustainability, resilience, and infrastructure across communities. As a Water Resources Specialist, you’ll work on a variety of water-related projects alongside multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll support planning, analysis, and design efforts across stormwater, flood risk, watershed management, and water infrastructure projects. This role offers opportunities to contribute to technical delivery, coordinate with internal teams and clients, and mentor junior staff.

Here’s What You’ll Do

  • Support and lead water resources projects through various stages of delivery
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using industry-standard tools
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and design inputs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project coordination
  • Support proposal development and client engagement activities

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • 5–8 years of experience in water resources or hydrotechnical engineering
  • Proficiency with modeling software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligibility for professional engineering registration (e.g., P.Eng.)

Posted Salary Range Minimum

81,800.00

Posted Salary Range Upper

114,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $81,800.00 to $114,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
