The location in Montreal , Quebec , Canada , is seeking talent to fill the position of Financial Analyst . This job is full-time permanent .

General Description As a Financial Analyst , you will play a key support role in financial data analysis, report preparation, and budgeting processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated young professional to develop their skills within a large organization that offers growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Analyze budget variances (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) and provide recommendations.
  • Contribute to financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  • Support the consolidation of financial results from various business units.
  • Help develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards.
  • Provide analytical support to managers and the operations team.
  • Prepare financial presentations for senior management.
  • Participate in internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automate reporting when possible.
  • Perform any other related tasks linked to the financial function.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • In the process of obtaining a professional designation (CPA, CFA, or MBA);
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience (internships included) in finance or accounting;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data;
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.);
  • Knowledge of an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) is an asset ;
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness, and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Team spirit, interpersonal skills, and initiative;
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English (written and spoken).
