$19.30 to start, increase to $19.88 after probation with pay increases every 6 months,

Positions: Full-time, permanent positions available.

Shifts: Monday – Friday, day shifts (early to mid morning) as well as early afternoon start times.

About the Roles:

The primary responsibility of these roles is to work with our lab production team and provide general support where needed. You will be trained in one of the positions listed below and then slowly crossed trained in others.

Training may include:

Reading and understanding the orthotic Rx based on your position
Heating and vacuum press of the orthotic
Grinding orthotics
Trimming orthotics
Covers for the orthotics
Running of the mill
Grind material such as foam, plastic, plaster and other materials used in the fabrication of devices.
Fabricate orthotic devices in compliance with doctors to meet quality, design and timeliness goals
Communicate effectively with fellow employees and management to complete our operational goals
Provide quality assurance, fabrication records during daily duties to meet company standards
Perform, heat molding, plastic molding, shoe repair and plaster working
Fabricates repairs and modifies plastic, leather, plaster and other durable medical equipment devices.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and perform maintenance on fabrication equipment

About You and Position Requirements:

You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hand on position where you demonstrated hand-eye dexterity, worked in a fast paced production line environment including food service. You have had to demonstrate the skills to be organized, move from task to task, and maintain a steady output. You are dependable, pay strict attention to detail, display a sense of urgency and are able to achieve a steady workflow while maintaining the quality of your work. You work well with others and have the ability to work on your own.
