That’s why we are actively seeking a Multilingual Sales Representative to join our team—someone who can connect with diverse communities and help drive international business growth.
Position Overview:
BNY is looking for a proactive, multilingual Sales Representative with a strong background in relationship-building and sales strategy. The ideal candidate will have fluency in English and at least one or more Asian languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean, Tagalog, Chinese or Japanese. This linguistic ability will allow the representative to engage more deeply with our diverse customer base and build meaningful, trust-based partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Communicate effectively with clients in their preferred language, fostering stronger relationships.
- Conduct outreach to potential clients across multicultural markets, with a focus on Asian-speaking communities.
- Present and promote BNY’s freight and logistics services through culturally sensitive and tailored presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring full compliance with internal policies.
- Use Salesforce to track client interactions, manage pipelines, and monitor performance.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop culturally relevant campaigns and materials.
- Stay informed on international trade trends, regional logistics needs, and customer behavior across diverse communities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in sales or account management, ideally within transportation, logistics, or a B2B setting.
- Fluency in English and at least one Asian language (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Ability to adapt sales strategies to suit multicultural markets.
- A self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
