Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
• Manage the waiting list during peak hours, estimating wait times, and updating guests
• Answer basic inquiries about the restaurant, menu, and special promotions
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and waiting areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
• Support the restaurant team during peak hours by assisting with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations.
• Familiarity with POS systems, enhancing efficiency in managing orders and payments.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• A passion for helping others and creating memorable experiences for guests is essential.
• Ability to multi task and remain calm under pressure.
