DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY
The Department of Psychology at the University of Winnipeg invites applications for a probationary, full-time Instructor III position. The appointment will be effective January 1, 2026, subject to budgetary approval.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated record of teaching excellence. Applicants must have completed (or be in near completion of) a post-graduate degree (preferably PhD) in psychology or a related area by the start date of the appointment.
The University of Winnipeg is an urban campus on Treaty One land in the heart of the Métis homeland. We are a liberal arts and sciences institution with a diverse student body and a focus on undergraduate education. The psychology department has 17 faculty members with varied research interests and offers three-year, four-year, and honours undergraduate degrees. The successful applicant will: (a) teach undergraduate courses in psychology based on departmental needs (the ability to teach introductory psychology, introductory data analysis, introductory research methods, and physiological psychology is an asset) and (b) share in the administrative responsibilities of the department and university.
