Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Unit Manager of the Pediatric Cardiology Clinic at the Stollery Children’s Hospital, this position provides a wide range of clerical support for the Pediatric Cardiology Clinic and Program. Responsible for the review and preparation of outpatient records and requisitions for lab tests for clinic visits. Creation of clinic templates, preparing clinic schedules and booking urgent cases. Provides registration and booking services, including telephone triage for the Pediatric Cardiology Clinic and clerical support to the department including physicians, nurses, and other staff. Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Requires excellent interpersonal, telephone, and organizational skills. Must work effectively in a busy, multitasking environment, including patient registration, outpatient scheduling support, and other administrative duties. Must demonstrate a commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care and align with AHS values. Cross-training to other areas of the Stollery may be required to support patient care. Completion of a Medical Office Assistant program is required, along with demonstrated proficiency in Connect Care administrative roles. 3–5 years of ambulatory clinic experience is essential. Must have intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong time and task management skills are needed to manage frequent interruptions. Requires self-direction, flexibility, and the ability to work independently within an interdisciplinary team. Must maintain confidentiality and be detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Proven reliability and dependability are required. Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking. Must meet all organizational requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination.

Preferred Qualifications:

Connect Care, Netcare and Microsoft Office experience preferred.
