About the role

This position blends a number of specialized tasks including general warehouse duties (picking/packing), inventory management (using SAP software) and pharmacy staging.

  • Picking and packing materials and supplies as outlined on order worksheets.
  • Picking, staging and decontaminating sensitive pharmacy raw ingredients to ensure supplies are available for production in the Cleanroom (highly sterile controlled environment).
  • Assists with receiving.
  • Performs inventory checks and ensures that all pick locations are maintained to proper inventory levels.
  • Participates in various quality control checks and expiry date checks.
  • Label and package finished products to ensure proper identification and integrity for shipping and final use.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical warehousing an asset
  • Forklift certification an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on a specific task, while multi-tasking and handling fluctuating workloads when necessary
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside of the organization
  • Good computer skills in MS Office – SAP experience highly beneficial
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Excellent continuous improvement skills
  • Proven ability to adhere to standards & procedures and maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to bend/lift 5-30lbs multiple times throughout entire shift
