About the role
Use your advanced systems engineering skills to help Honeywell Cambridge deliver innovative solutions across a variety of mission systems opportunities. You will be empowered to think BIG and challenge yourself to understand various aspects of mission systems engineering. You will work alongside some of the world's most talented engineers, applying your knowledge to evaluate complex mission scenarios and achieve desired performance standards.
You will contribute to the development of Honeywell Aerospace's state-of-the-art mission systems for military, space, and commercial applications, including satellite operations, space exploration, and advanced communication systems. You will take a lead role as part of a multidisciplinary team in designing, testing, and validating mission systems from concept to operational deployment. Examples of projects include mission architecture designs, system integration, and end-to-end performance assessments across various space system components.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead bidding and proposal evaluation, writing comprehensive technical proposals.
- Estimate labor and timelines for mission systems engineering projects.
- Manage requirements definition, validation, and compliance evaluations for mission systems.
- Conduct system architecture modeling and simulation to assess performance against mission objectives.
- Develop and refine system design documentation and performance specifications.
- Collaborate with and interact with external vendors and partners for integration and testing efforts.
- Conduct customer site visits for system demonstrations and requirements gathering.
- Oversee technical proposals and manage proposal schedules and budgets effectively.
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance and Reliability clearance.
