We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and ensure food safety standards will contribute to a positive dining experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring all requests are met.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for cash handling and processing transactions.
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.
- Address customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed to enhance their experience.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or cashiering is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus, along with any relevant certifications in food handling.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
