What the job involves
- The Data and Insights Team within Identity - Payments is looking for a Director of Product Management to drive our strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. This role will play a critical role in defining and executing the build of highly priority and fast paced products that will redefine the identity space at large
- Own the vision and translate that vision into actionable strategy, linking others' contributions to the success of your products
- Lead a team of product managers while fostering best-in-class product management practices across the group
- Create compelling business cases for stakeholder approval and funding
- Build relationships across Product, Engineering, the Regions, Core Payments, Customer Success, Foundry and other Mastercard cross functional teams to identify business opportunities, solve problems, and deliver solutions
- Own thoughtful prioritization of roadmaps and ensure all stakeholders and bought in on the collective mission
- Develop a business delivery strategy in collaboration with the Engineering team
- Maintain careful records of project statuses and keep stakeholders abreast of progress as well as raise risks
- Bring voice-of-the-customer metrics to life in a way that will inspire and drive change
- Support the ideation and development of a strong pipeline of future opportunities leveraging internal and external relationships
- Uses a data-driven approach to assess market opportunities and to build business cases incorporating accurate representations of future revenues and expense bases
