About the role
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day looks a little different? We’re looking for a Shipper Receiver who’s organized, detail-oriented, and thrives on keeping things moving. In this essential role, you'll handle the shipping, receiving, and tracking of parts and materials that support our production teams and keep our operation running like a well-oiled machine.
From unloading deliveries and inspecting stock to inventory control and working with forklifts or cranes—you’ll be a key player in our warehouse operations. If you’re a proactive problem-solver who enjoys physical work and doesn’t mind rolling up your sleeves, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Shipping & Receiving
- Load and unload incoming/outgoing parts, materials, and equipment manually or using material handling tools
- Ensure shipments are packed, labeled, and documented accurately
- Tag materials with job numbers, part IDs, or inventory markers
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and assist crane operators as needed
Inventory Control
- Receive, inspect, and record inventory in the system (manual or digital)
- Count, weigh, sort, and verify stock against packing slips or orders
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and adjust records accordingly
- Recommend disposal or return of damaged, excess, or obsolete stock
Assembly & Warehouse Support
- Support production by prepping materials and staging kits for work orders
- Uncrate, inspect, and prep parts for storage or use
- Assist with cycle counts and quality inspections
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
Equipment Maintenance & Safety
- Perform basic maintenance on warehouse equipment and tools
- Report any faulty equipment, safety issues, or defective materials
- Always wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures
- Keep MSDS documentation accessible and up to date
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Communicate with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute ideas for operational improvements
- Adapt to shifting priorities and lend support to other departments as needed
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or inventory control
- Forklift certification or experience is a strong asset
- Experience reading blueprints or work orders is an advantage
Skills & Knowledge
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, material handling, and logistics
- Ability to interpret shipping documentation, packing slips, and safety labels
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills

- Crouch, bend, kneel, and move in tight spaces

Overtime and shift flexibility (morning/afternoon) required
This is a safety-sensitive position and requires successful completion of:
- Functional Fit Test
- Drug & Alcohol Test
- Audiometric Test
- Respirator & Hearing Protection Fit Testing
- Candidate must be clean-shaven for respirator use
