Location:  Montreal, QC (Hybrid)

Reports to:  Creative Director

Manages:  Social Media Specialist

Your Mission

As our  Social Media Lead , you will:

  • Drive brand and social strategy : Help define our voice, visual direction, and platform-first approach (esp. Instagram and LinkedIn; as well as unlock TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube).
  • Lead campaigns & product launches : Conceptualize, develop, and oversee multi-touch campaigns, from ideation through rollout and optimization.
  • Manage a small team : Direct our Social Media Specialist; scale with freelancers or agencies as needed, while staying hands-on.
  • Collaborate closely : Partner with Creative, Product, CMO, Sales, and Customer Care teams to align brand messaging and digital presence.
  • Create on the go : Shoot reels, design with Canva or Adobe, or edit short-form video. This role is both strategic and hands-on.
  • Analyse & adapt : Monitor KPIs (reach, engagement, sentiment, share of voice, conversions) and pivot strategy in real time.

You’re a Fit If You Have:

  • A deep love and understanding of all things brand —bonus if you have a passion for interior design and home good products
  • 5+ years of experience (agency, in-house CPG/retail, or startup) in brand-building and social strategy
  • Proven track record in elevating a brand’s social presence —bonus if you've led product-driven campaigns
  • Deep expertise in Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok; plus an understanding of Pinterest and YouTube
  • A blend of strategic vision and operational discipline —comfortable with both a content calendar and culture trends
  • Excellent storytelling and visual instincts, with solid copywriting and creative direction chops
  • Hands-on skills with Canva, Adobe Suite, or video/photo editing tools
  • Experience managing small teams, with a collaborative mindset
  • Entrepreneurial energy, unfazed by ambiguity and ready to move at startup pace
