As the Shop Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the Refiner Service center for Refiner and auxillary equipment. Cover all daily administration requirements and supervision of the workshop employees. Ensure the site, equipment and employees are all operating in compliance with current health and safety rules and regulations.
Responsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

Manage day-to-day operations of the Refiner Rebuild Center, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.

Oversee the refurbishment and rebuilding of refiner components, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.

Lead and motivate a team of skilled technicians and staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Provide guidance and support to team members to address any behaviors that may deviate from safety protocols, quality standards, or project timelines, fostering a culture of efficency and growth within the team.

Supervise the shipping department, ensuring timely receipt and shipment of items, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.

Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Ensure project targets are met, including labor efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery.

Maintain production schedule priorities by closely monitoring project timelines and actively participating in production meetings to ensure alignment with overall project goals and deadlines.

Special projects as assigned / required
When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:
- Supervisory experience in a millwright or machinist background
- Ten plus years in experience in manufacturing or service related background in close-tolerance machining, metal working, materials, capital planning
- TPM, Lean and 5S strongly preferred
- SAP experience strongly preferred
