We're looking for a building mechanical technician to join our project team at the Pratt & Whitney Canada Facility in Longueuil. We have a multidisciplinary team there with about 35 resources onsite including structural, electrical and mechanical engineering as well a interior design and construction management
Your main responsibilities
- Coordinate, verify and design mechanical building systems for our major customer Pratt & Whitney Canada across the country from their Plant A in Longueuil.
- Help carry out surveys of existing conditions, draw up plans using AutoCAD and Revit, and write specifications
- Help prepare budget estimates
- Work closely with the project team to develop solutions tailored to client needs
- Provide assistance in regards to site supervision
- Internal and external project coordination with multidisciplinary teams and clients
Your Profile
- College degree diploma in mechanical engineering or building engineering.
- Be registered as a member of L'ordre des technologues du Québec, an asset.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in consulting engineering or a related field with HVAC and plumbing design.
- Fully proficient in French, both written and spoken.
- Comfortable working with the Microsoft Office 365 suite and with the AutoDesk suite (REVIT and AutoCad).
- Adaptability and Flexibility, Application of Professional Knowledge, Communication, Dependability, Personal Organization, Problem Solving/Analysis
