Position: Marketing and Communications CoordinatorReports to: General Manager
We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team. Our Marketing and Communicators Coordinator will be responsible for internal and external communications regarding the retail store.
Opportunities
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will facilitate our marketing efforts, manage our social media platforms, write blog posts and email newsletters, manage our loyalty program, and provide effective and accurate verbal and visual communications within the Sprouted Oven environment. This individual will aid the Store director, Retail Store Manager & Culinary Manager in the day-to-day communications needs of the store while performing additional division-related tasks as needed.

Experience
- Previous retail sales and inventory experience in the food industry is an asset
- You have a Degree/Diploma in Marketing or related field
- You have relevant experience working in a similar capacity
- You have experience with MS Office with an emphasis on Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- You have experience with Google Analytics, WordPress, and social media platforms
things you will do…
- Marketing activities including social media, updating website, blog post, in-store marketing and assist with managing our loyalty program
- Internal communications for Sprouted Oven including weekly newsletters
- External communications (ie. Loyalty member text messages, promo emails, etc)
- Discover and source new products to sell in store
- Develop a marketing strategy to sell new products through merchandising and sampling
- Pull sales data and analyze sales trends of store products and contribute to data driven decisions on store product
- Perform logistics and banking duties as required
- Participate in trade shows and events
- Consolidate and update SOP’s
- Support in creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
OTHER …
- Ability to frequently bend and reach while stocking
- Flexibility with schedule changes and shift times
- Availability 6 days per week (Sun- Friday)
