About the role

Position Overview:

Altea’s ideal Membership Coordinator is incredibly personable with the confidence to spark conversation with anyone. They have an open mind to learning our sales process, inspiring them to actively seek out and engage prospective clients. Their deep product knowledge enables them to share detailed information on our luxury products and services, and ultimately close the sale. They play an instrumental role in increasing our profitability and growth by expanding our member base.

You approach each day with passion and precision, your goal is to book and confirm tours, mine for high-quality leads, exceed monthly sales targets, maintaining a high volume of outbound, cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective clients and members, and act as a true brand ambassador. With rapid reset between connections, you deliver a consistent, tailored experience, you uncover each prospect’s “why” to position Altea as the clear solution, while your service-first mindset ensures a seamless transition into onboarding and cross-departmental growth. As a Membership Coordinator, a typical day might include the following:

  • Maintaining high volume of outbound (calling, texting, emails)
  • Mining leads
  • Booking and confirming tours
  • Facilitate individually tailored tours
  • Book onboarding appointments for every sale
  • Timely prospect follow ups
  • Confidently upselling memberships and add on services for cross departmental growth
  • Consistently reviewing daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
  • As an individual and as a team, creatively game planning ways to achieve sales goals.
  • Educating new and current members on membership benefits to maximize service usage.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate sales records in our customer relations management software.

To land this role you need to have;

  • Post-secondary education ideally relating to the health and fitness industry
  • Additional certifications or workshops relating to sales, marketing and administration are preferred
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a sales role
  • Sales experience in the health, fitness, premium hospitality is preferred
  • A recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
