Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the culinary operations of the retirement residence.
- Create and implement menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of residents.
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet high standards.
- Manage kitchen staff and foster a positive work environment.
- Maintain inventory and control food costs.
Required Qualifications
- Culinary diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a culinary leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a retirement or healthcare setting.
- Ability to create menus that cater to diverse dietary needs.
