As a Service Coordinator, you’ll be the central hub of our service operations—ensuring that every repair job runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll coordinate work orders, manage documentation, support technicians and planners, and keep customers informed every step of the way.

Job Description:
- Verify service request details, confirm credit approval, apply marketing programs, and review service history.
- Open work orders, and ensure alignment with scope, budget, and schedule.
- Maintain accurate records in Case and other systems to ensure traceability and audit readiness.
- Assist Repair Planners and Service Supervisors during repair execution, ensuring real-time updates in Case, SWIP Tool, and M3.
- Complete work order adjustments, SG&A forms, warranty and goodwill documentation, and escalate risks as needed.
- Schedule and participate in Pre, Mid, and Post job meetings, capturing action items and updating commitment dates.
- Arrange transportation, hotshots, and third-party contractor services, including documentation and procurement requests.
- Coordinate site-specific training and access requirements for technicians.
- Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate, initiate closure activities, and support invoicing and warranty claim processes.
- Proactively update internal and external stakeholders on job status and support inquiries related to service, warranty, and production.
- Provide backup support to Planners and Controllers as needed and participate in scheduling and SWIP meetings.
Qualifications:
- Secondary education with a focus on administrative management, business, or accounting/finance.
- 2–4 years in dealership, project coordination, or service roles within construction, oilfield, forestry, marine, or similar industries.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and service-related software.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with mechanical, parts, or repair processes.
- Understanding of Finning’s warranty process, service billing, and Customer Service Commitment.
- Knowledge of project management principles related to scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
Note:
- This position is based out of our West Edmonton location.
- Temporary, full-time role for 12 months with possibility for extension.
- Monday – Friday, 5 x 2 schedule.
