Business Analyst How does the role impact the organization? We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with Business Systems Analyst (BA/BSA) expertise to join our Project Management Office. This hybrid role bridges business strategy and technical execution, ensuring goal-aligned solutions. You will work with business stakeholders, IT teams, compliance, and vendors to deliver technology solutions that support our wealth management advisors and clients. Your work will be integral to advancing operational efficiency, innovation, and digital transformation at Raymond James.
What will your role be responsible for?
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and third-party vendors to understand business needs and strategic objectives.
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions and document business analysis artifacts (e.g., BRDs, process maps, wireframes) to define clear, actionable requirements
- Requirements Documents (BRDs), process maps, and UI wireframes.
- Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and cost-benefit evaluations to support solution planning and prioritization.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and sharing best practices.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting style and format to audience needs.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and collaborate with IT teams to design scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Analyze and document data flows, API interfaces, and integration points between systems.
- Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Expertise You Bring:
- 3–5 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services or wealth management.
- Experience working with both in-house developed systems and third-party software products.
- Strong understanding of investment products, CRM systems, and Fintech platforms.
- Proficiency in creating user stories, use cases, workflows, and interface mockups.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with a proactive, adaptable mindset.
- Technical literacy, including familiarity with APIs, SQL, and relational databases (no coding required).
- Experience with software implementation, system enhancements, data migration, and digital transformation projects.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Visio (for process mapping), and Balsamiq (for wireframing).
- A degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum credentials are considered strong assets
