As we expand our operations we are seeking a Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist.
Key Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Invoicing and Collection
- Account Reconciliation (Investigate, discounts, rebates, allowances, etc.)
- Reconcile payments to customer accounts
- Initiate communications with customers to resolve past-due collection balances
- Invoicing
Marketing Trade Fund & Claim Management
- Validate rebates/allowance per Customer Contract
- Liaise closely with Internal departments (Logistics, Sales, etc.) and key account customer to ensure the deduction are valid and find resolutions for amounts in dispute
Month-end, Reporting and Reconciliations
- Contribute to explanations for Weekly and Monthly Aging Summary
- Assist in year-end audit
What you bring:
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally in B2B environment, managing relationships and collections of high-volume major retail & wholesale accounts
- Experience with SAP is highly desirable
- Post-Secondary Education (Accounting, Business) is considered an asset
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills, strong ability to investigate, analyze and engage key stakeholders in the resolution process of all outstanding items
- Proficiency with MS Office – particularly Excel (power user, good knowledge of Vlookups) and Outlook
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong organization skills
