Job Description
The Director, Retail Risk Modeling will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of risk models for retail banking products. This role requires a strong understanding of statistical modeling techniques and the ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the development of retail risk models, including credit risk, fraud risk, and operational risk models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure models meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor model performance and make necessary adjustments to improve accuracy.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Finance).
- 5+ years of experience in risk modeling or related field.
- Strong programming skills in R, Python, or similar languages.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail banking or financial services.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to risk modeling.
- PhD in a quantitative field is a plus.
