Houseman

This position requires someone that is hospitable, friendly, and outgoing with a focus on guest service. The Houseman provides cleaning support to the rest of the housekeeping team. This will result in cleaning in all areas of the hotel and will require frequent walking, lifting and carrying.

Open availability is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities:

• General support for all members of the housekeeping and guest services teams
• Clearing rooms of used linen, towels and any other items
• Supplying clean linen for the housekeeping team
• Stocking shelves in the housekeeping rooms
• Providing turn-down service to guests of the hotel
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in hotel housekeeping preferred.
• Mature, hardworking and responsible
• Demonstrated strong team player with excellent communication skills are essential.
• Highly detail oriented, exceptional organizational skills and able to handle competing priorities.
• Ability to take ownership of duties.
• Variable shifts times will occur. The ability to work evenings and weekends is required.

Physical Aspects of Position:

• Continuous walking, bending and lifting up to 50lbs
• Use of cleaning machines and solutions will be required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.04 per hour
