We're hiring for at Technical Officer 📍 Location: Uxbridge 💼 Up to £40,950 + exceptional benefits 🕒 36 hours/week | Hybrid working – 3 days Uxbridge office, 2 days home LHCPG is seeking an experienced Technical Officer with excellent interpersonal skills and a good team worker. What You’ll Do ✔️ Support the Group Technical Manager & provide technical research and support services to Technical Procurement Operations and the wider LHC Group
✔️ Research and create technical tender and evaluation documentation to be used in procurement activities undertaken by LHC to establish new frameworks
✔️ Provide advice, guidance and support to LHC Group on Technical Framework matters, including change management relating to contractors, performance and quality standards.
✔️ KPIs formulation, implementation, collection and reporting for management actions
✔️ Provide proactive management of all annual & cyclical review of framework operators.
✔️ Provide advice, guidance and insight to LHC Group on wider construction sector issues, trends and changes (such as legislative or regulatory updates)
What You Need ✅ Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering a range of construction projects with a quality, sustainable and cost-effective outcome.
✅ Understanding of current Building regulations.
✅ Knowledge of standards and specifications that relate to one or more of the following:
✅ New-Build Construction (Domestic/Commercial)
✅ Refurbishment, M&E and Energy Efficiency Measures
✅ Fire Safety Works & Services
✅ Background in delivery (dependent on post) of New-build Construction, Refurbishment, M&E and Energy Efficiency or fire safety projects across Housing, Education, Healthcare.
✅ Working Knowledge of Construction contracts in particular JCT and NEC suites.
