About the role

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Food Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of food service operations at Zion Park Manor. The Supervisor provides leadership, program planning and quality food services. The incumbent implements policies and procedures, manages human resources, participates in cost control measures and maintains relevant records. The Coordinator also completes special project work as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Successful graduation from a two year Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM) accredited college program in food service and nutrition management;
  • Recent, related experience in an acute care or long-term care facility including supervision of staff.
  • Certificate of proficiency in Nutrition and Food Services Management if not included in two year program.
  • Or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and a minimum of one year recent experience in geriatric care
  • A member in good standing with the College of Dietitians of BC.

Plus

  • Food Safe Level 1 and 2.
  • Point Click Care and CB Diets experience would be considered an asset
  • Valid BC Driver’s License.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
